One time passcode not accepted by Paypal

I have a Guatemalan Paypal account but am unable to contact Paypal in order to fix an issue. First, I tried their messaging system but they ask me to make a phone call. The automatic answering machine for US phone calls asks you to enter your one time pass code. I’m entering 933580 and they say they can’t find it. Curiously, if I log out of Paypal and back in again, their “call us” info page always give that same passcode. Is it their way of telling all non-US customers to **bleep** off?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.

Thank you for your answer, but I did call the number given as help info, a US number with 402 as area code. They just did not accept the pass code I was given on the page, and as an alternative they ask me for my US 10 digit phone number, and the phone given on my paypal account has a different format.

I’ll try again tomorrow.
