I can't access my account and the password reset and troubleshooting gives the errors shown below

I can't log in to my account despite using correct details, and the password reset option returns this error. If I use an incorrect email addess it says no account associated with that email so the account still exists but I can't access it or do any troubleshooting to regain access.

As you are having difficulty accessing your account, I recommend contacting our Support Specialists directly so that we can troubleshoot and determine what may be causing this issue so that we can resolve it.

 

To do so, simply login to your account and go to 'Contact Us' at the bottom of any page and you will be presented with the options available for you to contact us. 

 

Please follow the steps below to contact Customer Service: 

  1. If you're reading this on the PayPal app, tap Contact at the bottom of the screen. If you're on a web browser, go to our Contact Us page.
  2. Select the issue that most closely matches your reason for contacting us.
  3. If the information you're shown on-screen doesn't answer your question, scroll down. Depending on the issue, you'll see an option to message or call us.
