How do i verify myself to acess my account if i no longer have my number available?

Hi,

So I'm trying to access my account but no longer have the sim with the number that was attached to it how do i update my phone number without logging in or simply remove 2FA?

If you go to the 'Help & Contact' icon on the PayPal website. Then if you click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. From here, if you click the 'Password and Account Access' option, then 'Login Problems'. On the next page, you will see a 'Call Us' option. You do not need to be logged in to use this feature.

Yeah will have to get my **bleep** into town to use a phone as i dropped my mobile down the toilet and now can't get text messages to verify myself or call PayPal as well my phone has poop for brains lol

I do not have a mobile phone and neither does my husband now, we made this choice because we don't need them. Our landline has a gate on it to prevent scam and unwanted calls and we have to let people through, so it doesn't accept automated ones. Our bank and credit card use our email for the codes and don't then need to be sending texts.

All this has meant that since PayPal started this crazy system, I have not been able to use it at all so my account will lapse. I can't understand why they would assume everyone has a mobile phone.

Me too and my night is there day to phone! No chat or email option is bad.
