How do I verify my PayPal account. I am from South Africa

I think in your country that you have to add and confirm a credit card.

I am also struggling. I have added my credit card more than once and it charges around R39 each time

Why do you keep adding it?

It deducts the money to send you the confirmation code to confirm you own the card.

Once you have confirmed it then money deducted is refunded.

However if you keep adding it and keep having funds deducted then it will take longer for the none-used codes to time out and the funds for those codes refunded back to your card.
