When attempting to login to paypal after entering my username and password. It asks for a mobile phone number. I entier the only number I have and the one that is on record with paypal and the screen says "this number is not supported" and does not allow me to login.
There is NO way to contact paypal because it insist I come up with a different number to enter.
How do I get paypal to fix their broken browser based login?
Do you have a mobile (not landline) phone issued in your country and registered in just your name verified on your Paypal account?
Paypal are using mobile phones for i.d requirements for logging in and withdrawal funds for extra security measures.
Yes, this is the same phone number I have had on file for years. It has been verified nemours times.
Since the only way to contact paypal is by logging in it seems like I will have to sever my relationship with paypal.
If you go to the 'Help & Contact' icon on the PayPal website. Then if you click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. From here, if you click the 'Password and Account Access' option, then 'Login Problems'. On the next page, you will see a 'Call Us' option. You do not need to be logged in to use this feature.
Thank you.
I've been clicking various links about login issues for an hour getting nowhere.
I will attempt to call them.
Your time is much appreciated.
