Cant change my Paypal name. I tried almost everything.

I tried to click "Change" next to my name on the profile settings, uploaded my ID, even contacted support (no one answered). But i still cant change my name. I changed it this morning, accidentally entered the same name because of reflex... How do i change it again?

I see you're facing issues changing name on your PayPal account. You can make changes to the name by following the instructions mentioned in the Article: How do I change the name on my PayPal account

You may have to submit the request again with valid proofs. If you're unable to reach out to us and would want to contact us, you can choose the Message us option as well from the PayPal website.

I re submitted (even though not my error) but it did Nothing. PP are not paying enough for anything above a mouse. PAPERTRAIL -helps keep your customers happy -you know those “people”  who are your bread and butter.

I did the same thing -for your name you have to download the docs they require and it shoukd be done in a matter of hours (or mi utes if they aren’t asleep). Unfortunately, somebody decided to change my name back after 6-8 months and all PP Did was argue with me so I ended up opening another account in the proper name. Not what I wanted to do cos the history’s wrong but I’m not going to argue black is blue when clearly it’s BLACK. THATS MY ONLY SUGGESTION -delete your old account AFTER you’ve set up your new one) not right but I don’t see an alternative do you?  If someone has a better idea please  share.

I ended up opening a new account in my new name cos PP JUST ARGUED WITH ME.  This is AFTER I had given them (downloaded) all the docs they asked for. They had a fit and changed it back after months of no problems. Instead of arguing BLACK IS WHITE I did what I did not want to do which was delete my old account and open a new one in my new name. History is all wrong. You need docs to prove your change of name -I had DEED POLL. But even that didn’t help when they cannot see that they are in the wrong. That’s all I can suggest is opening a new account in new name (so long as it matches your bank accounts). You can’t (for obvious reasons ) just change your name on the profile -message them and ask what to do if it’s not clear.
