Can’t log in to app on iPad

In the app on iPad running iOS 15 shows the words “forgotten your password”  in the password box, resulting in not being able to enter password to log in.   Can log into website and iPhone no bother 

 

user name: xxxxxxxxxxx@………..com

password:  xxxxxxxxxx forgotten your password

therefore can’t log in.     Have phoned and asked for help in other ways.  How can I get PayPal to update the app

asked the person on the phone for an email so I could send a screenshot. I did what she said and then got an email to say that email address doesn’t accept emails!!!   Can anyone give me an email address
