Can I switch my account to personal account from a business account?

Is there a way to switch my paypal account from a business account to a personal account.? Or would I have to close the account and start a new account.? I really would like to keep this account without having to start another paypal. The business that I sat this account up for is no longer active so I need to switch it so I don't have to do a 1099. Thanks for your help in advance!

There is no automatic way to downgrade a business account to a personal account, you have to contact customer services and they will do that for you.

Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
