Account deletion with pending balance

How do I close my account with money in it that won't transfer because the account is not verified?

Normally you can't close a paypal account with a positive or negative balance.

Have you considered sending it to a close mate or family member or paypals giving fund?

Failing that reach out to customer services and see if they can send you a cheque in the post of the funds?
