Valid email or scam?

I received the following email and am not sure it is genuine.  Can any body help?

You have received this email because you or someone had used your account from different locations. For security purpose, we are required to open an investigation into this matter.

In order to safeguard your account, we require that you confirm your details.             To help speeed up this process, please access the following link so we can complete the verification of your PayPal Account registration information.

http://www.paypal.co.uk/

If we do not receive the appropriate account verification within 48 hours, then we will assume this PayPal account is fraudulent and will be suspended.

The purpose of this verification is to ensure that your account has not been fraudulently used and to combat the fraud from our community.             We appreciate your support and understanding and thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

I can tell its a spoof from the first line.

Paypal NEVER address you as either Dear Member or User or Customer > they always address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

They also never tell you to sign in and enter sensitive financial or log in info via a link in an email.

Also that is not paypals website name..paypal has an s on the end of http and also it is .com/uk

Hi petere, 

When PayPal send an email to request information we will always request that you log in separately to your PayPal account. We never put links in our emails. We will also address the email to you using your full name. 

May I suggest that you forward the email that you received to us at spoof@paypal.com so our team can take a look at it for you.
