Small deposits sent by PayPal to my bank account

I keep checking my bank account trying to find the 2 small deposits sent by Paypal to my bank. I have been looking since the 18th. Meantime paypal sending emails to me to tell me to verify the deposits sent to my account. So I can get no further forward. I rang my bank and they say Paypal sends the request to them by fax and that it usually takes a few days to get through. It looks as though Paypal think the amounts they supposedly put into my bank account are visible to me as they are sending reminder emails to complete the process. Anybody out there had same problem and was it resolved.

PS I am finding it difficult to contact Paypal and judging by other posts here others are having the same problem. Why do they make it so difficult.

Hi, apologies for the amount of e-mail reminders you seem to be getting there. It sounds like there might be a delay in getting those deposits. When we say 2-3- days, we generally refer to working days. Often Saturdays and Sundays are not included.  You should be getting those deposits soon, please contact if it is more than a week without them.

In relation to the issue with contacting us. As you can appreciate, with an organisation this size, there is always going to be an issue with responding to every single contact from customers.  The reason for this forum is so that customers can communicate with each other and also us.

I hope this issue works out for you, and you can post here on this forum or review the other threads should any other issue like this occur again in the future.

Hi, I am having the same problem compounded by paypal now failing to pay for ebay purchases, embarrasing. This is a mess and a stupid way to verify account ownership. Further I never sign up for direct debits as the system seems to need.

The verification process screens are confusing as well .Chris.

It is without a doubt absolutely relevant to include information that covers this subject.......as Paypal does not include this information people will be mislead.

Hi,

I have had difficulties in verifying my bank. I have now been told I cannot use the bank account and told to contact customer services.

I have done this however I have had no response, yet. I would like to know how to verify my bank and what I need to do.

Please help me.

There can be issues with some accounts, such as Savings or on-line accounts. There can also be an issue if a bank has had to be removed because of payment failure or already failed the Random Deposit procedure. Our system may have removed the bank. Contacting Customer Service directly should have the issue fixed, if an agent can just re-enable your bank. Good Luck.
