Paypal linked to a troll account

So my old friend created a fake paypal using my name as a joke about 2 weeks ago.

He used it and got money from a website and gave to another friend. 

His paypal got limited.

Since he used my name, Paypal has linked his account to mine, therefore limiting my account.

I have to provide proof and take the limitation off the account which is not even mine.

Is there any other way to take this off?

If i add my bank account will this restriciton go away?
