I am posting this on behalf of my partner as he cant log into the forums using his account due to his account being limited at the moment.
Ebay give him a selling allowance to start with of 306 items or £2000 per month, he called them to ask for an increase they said there was issues with his paypal account needing to be resolved first.
when he got off the phone to ebay log into his paypal to find out it had been limited took all steps to resolve the issues as they wanted to verify his suppliers and his personal info. as a business seller on ebay.
They refused his appeal (didnt even appeal anything unless its automatic) they eventually said it was because he was linked to a previous account that had a negative balance.
So he called collections team up at paypal they told him to deal wih the outside collections agency, he has done that and is paying it off the collections team at paypal said he would be allowed the account with negative balance on back once the negative balance was cleared, and the limitations team have said they would put his recently limited account back for review again.
Only thing is on recently limited account it says limitation can not be appealed.
Just want to know what are his chances of getting the account limitations removed once the negative balance is cleared and being able to resume with his ebay selling as this has really had a knock on his business with no paypal which means other selling platforms he uses where paypal is only payment provider option he can not use them either
