My name has suddenly been changed on Paypal. My first name is the same but I am being asked for proof of ID in a different name and have received a message in this wrong name. I have, over the last few weeks forwarded a scan of my driver licence twice but have been trying in vain to speak to someone at Paypal, no one picks up the phone! So I am trying to close my account incase it has been hacked but I can not. I have had to stop paypal payments now on my Ebay as I dont know what is going on!
I received an email saying my account has been set a limit now as I am not sending my ID but how many times do I send it before someone accepts it? I have used Paypal for a few years with no probs so I cant understand. I rang ebay, at least they pick up the phone... but they can not help and said I will have to use BUYER TO COLLECT from now on and cash on collection!! Ridiculous!
