I have read lots of forum posts regarding problems with verification of Paypal accounts but we are having problems with our Charity account. When we set up the account there was no direct contact saying we had a limited time to verify. Now we have been given 100 days to confirm details of Directors etc for our 'business' but our business is a Charity.
We were not able to open an individual account for the Charity so had to et up a business one. For several years you have accepted this yet now you are threatening to block OUR money and citing money laundering regulations. This is a farce as true organsations covering Money Laundering regulations ensure that this information is given at the time of opening an account, not several years down the line. There are NO directors because this is a small, charitable organisation who rely on donations in order to save the lives of animals. There are no chances to money launder - have you seen vets fees recently? We regularly have to use our own money to help pay for treatment, food, litter etc.
Please can you advise what we are supposed to do - otherwise we will need to contact each individual donation provider and get them to arrange to claw their funds back from Paypal.
