Just tried to withdraw the remaining money in my paypal account and have been told that i need to be verified.  This i am aware of but the problem is that the bank account i use does not allow direct debits, only standing orders!

I have explained this to Paypal numerous times but they just email back saying that i have to set up a direct debit!! I simply cannot do this even if i wanted to but they are saying that i cannot have my money without setting up the direct debit..... going round in circles thay say i must and i say i can't, what can i do?  Please don't say set up a direct debit!!

I'm sure it is illegal to keep money that is not yours Paypal!!!

Thanks

Hi there Fedupmember,

To  lift your withdrawal limit you do need to confirm a bank account. It sounds like you are using a Savings account to withdraw funds to, are you? If this is the case you could add a current account to allow you to confirm it and lift all withdrawal limits.

There may be an alternative which would involve you submitting documents to us to allow us to verify you manually, I would however advise that you contact us directly so we can discuss your account specifically.

Hope this helps!
