waiting to recieve money? please help

I was sent an email saying that the money had been deducted from the buyers account and that I needed to send in the tracking number before the money would be credited to me.  So I sent in the tracking number yesterday, but I still haven't heard anything back from paypal and nothing shows up in my paypal account. How long should I wait before I start to worry that something is wrong?

Hi sarah-

On the assumption that your situation was tied to a payment hold being released upon confirmation of delivery of the item, the process can take up to 3 days.  PayPal will verify the tracking number shows the item was delivered to the buyer.  If your buyer leaves positive feedback, that hold can lift within a business day, too.  If it has been more than 3 days for the shipping info being added to the transaction or more than 1 day since positive feedback was left, please use the Contact Us link to reach out to PayPal securely by phone or email to request the release of the hold.
