An item I sold through eBay was broken in the mail. I had purchased insurance at the time of printing the label. The recipient is kindly working WITH me to resolve this, as the item was shipped in its original factory packing and padding, but the damage to the box by the P.O. is clear and obvious.
Post Office won't pay my claim for damage unless I produce a 'receipt' for postage and insurance. I sent the original receipt for the label I printed through PayPal/P.O. account already, as part of my original claim to them, along with my eBay listing and 'sold' price, (to validate value of item) pictures sent by the recipient of the damage to both the box and contents. Don't they (the post office) RECOGNISE postage through PayPal as legitimately produced? How can I convince them?
Thanks for any advice or suggestions. This was an expensive item; I need my money back.

You can go to your transaction details in your Pay Pal account and print the detail for the payment to the Post Office. Go to your Overview screen in Pay Pal and scroll down to the transaction for the postage purchase. Click on details and then print out that screen.
