Hi, If you need to change you credit card or bank account, go into your paypal account and remove the ones that are not open or not the ones you want to use and remove them. If the cards want remove call paypal.
I found out something very important, if you have payments in progress, you can not remove anything!
wait until you are not transferrng your funds to replace or remove a card or bank account.
An ACH transfer can not be cancelled by PayPal once submitted in the system. PayPal only request for the transfers from the bank and recieve responses electronically if the transaction is honored or not.
You may incurr a NSF fee or overdraft fee which you can request for your bank to waive.
In these situation, PayPal encourages their customer to contact the financial institution to resolve the issue.
If you sent the payment usng instant transfer from your bank or echeck, there's no way that PayPal acan stop the transaction since PayPal is only a payment processor which means PayPal is only requesting for the funds to be processed through your bank via ACH (automated clearing house) process or electronic funds transfer. If it fails, PayPal reserves the right to resubmit another request after 3 business days of notifying you that you needed to add funds.
The only way to stop it is to call your bank and tell them your situation.
Regardless if you contact your seller and have them refund the transaction, PayPal still cant stop ACH.
I placed an order using paypal. The payment is in processing. However I contacted the merchant who says they never got my order. I can't wait a full 30 days for the pending order to be cancelled by paypal. Is there anything I can do in this case ?
