World of Warcraft Account - selling scam question?

I listed a World of Warcraft account that I have spent 3 years building up, on craigslist. I got a response by a guy who wanted to buy it.
We agree'd on a price of $385 dollars.. I made a paypal account because I heard that it is very hard to get scammed on here, and the last thing I wanted is to get ripped off on this account. We exchanged over 40 emails that I have saved, and have him completely agreeing to pay the amount. I made a paypal account, and he sent the money over.
I got confirmation that I received the money (minus a fee I didn't know about) and I sent him all of my account information. Login, password, secret question/ answer, original game CD keys, EVERYTHING.
He replied that he is extremely happy with the account. I got emails from Blizzard (the company who makes World of Warcraft) saying that he has successfully changed the password, email, and all account information.
Not an hour later, I get an email from paypal, saying that he is trying to take the funds back, and there is a hold on the money now. I sent a reply to PayPal explaining all of this (in extreme detail) and am still waiting for a reply.
Does anyone know what I can expect from this? I am completely frustrated in this whole thing 😞
Thanks for the replies in advance.

I agree! Lie to Blizz, don't mention the transaction, just say it was stolen. Paypal DOES NOT accept emails as proof, and you will not get your money back.

Also, since you sent the passwords and secret questions and answers...
If you use those passwords or questions/answers for ANY other account you need to change them IMMEDIATELY.
This guy is a scam artist and he will check to see if you have any other accounts he can get into with those questions or passwords.

Also, if you decide to resell this, and you list it on eBay...
Send the information printed, through the mail with signature confirmation required. This will give you the information you need to give paypal if the buyer tries to take the money back.
Always require signature confirmation if the item is over $250.

This just happend to me as well did the E-Mail end in a .Fr? What do you mean printed? Do you mean like send over a printed contract to the buyer have them sign it via U.S post office as a official document once recieved via post office continue with the sale?
Also it is against blizzard Terms of Service to sell the accounts so definetly make sure you say the account was hacked, if you don't they'll end up suspending or completely IP banning you or just banning the account all together.

Also I'm just curious will Paypal Pull IP logs against the scammer for the IP used to log onto the site and work with the E-Mail provider to also obtain IP logs from them as well to see if these Ip addresses the buyer used to interact with us the seller to see if they match?
If they did this they would definetly know there dealing with the same person creating bogus emails to mismatch there Paypal account so there able to create these Fraudelent claims.
This Organization/Person is robbing people blindly and theres got to be away to put a stop to him or the organization thats doing this.
