UPS Charges on Paypal

Why did Paypal change the way it deducts UPS charges from Paypal accounts. It is very confusing to keep track of your balance with this new way. If I'm not mistaken it works like this: If you use Paypal to pay for a UPS shipment they deduct the UPS charge when the shipping label is created (putting a hold on your account for the amount), it seems that randomly a few days or a week later they remove the hold, add back the UPS charge to your balance and then a few days later deduct it from your account. If you ship a fair amount of items and do not have a generous cushion in your account keeping track of what's really in your account is too complicated. You have to keep track of these random additions to your balance and then subtractions. Why can't they go back to the old way and just deduct the charge once and be done with it? Just venting a little.....thanks for the time.

Open a "Feature Request" here. Under the "Severity" dropdown selection, choose "Feature Request" and complete the form. This is how ideas or suggested changes are sent to the software design engineers.
