Paypal transfers

I would like to know if it is possible to pay my rent through paypal. Normally I would go to my landlords bank and make the rent deposit but I would like to just transfer the funds from my paypal, to his bank account.  I work online and I get paid to my paypal account, jsut thought it would be easier.

It is not possible to transfer funds from your PayPal Account to someone else's bank account.   The PayPay Network is designed to send funds from one PayPal Account to another PayPal Account.   If your Landlord has a PayPal Account and is willing to accept payments from you using PayPal, that should work fine.   However, keep in mind that using this method will cost your Landlord some additional expenses that he or she may not be aware of.

For example, if you pay $500, PayPal will charge the Landlord 2.9% plus $.30 to process the transaction.  Putting this in to perspective, that's a charge of $14.80 leaving the Landlord with a balance of $485.20.  Based on 12 months, in this scenario, I don't believe the Landlord is willing to give up $177.60 a year just for the convenience of transferring funds.
