Payment question

I just used my PayPal account for the first time in a long time tonight to make a payment for an Ebay item I won.  After I clicked the pay button, I realized I didnt have any funds in my Paypal account AND I didnt have a linked credit card.

I immediately set up a new credit card.  Will the funds still transfer from this card?  Or do I need to manually transfer funds from my bank account to cover the auction winnings?

The funds should transfer from your new card.

Look closely at the payment page when it comes up - it tells you where it's getting the funds from.

You can always cancel the payment before you make it, if by no other means than closing the window.
