Paid off PayPal Buyer Credit w/ Balance but Limit not Available

I am absolutely LIVID. Several days ago, I scheduled a payment for my PayPal Buyer Credit to pay off the balance in full using $129.05 from my PayPal Balance. This was to be processed on 12/31. I checked my transactions tonight (1/1) and indeed, both my PayPal history and my PayPal Buyer Credit payment history say that this transaction has been completed. The $129.05 is gone from my PayPal Balance.

I need my full credit limit open for another transaction (Ebay). Yet when I went to pay for that transaction using my Buyer Credit, it shows that I still have to pay $129.05 before I have the full Buyer Credit balance available. What is going on here? My Buyer Credit statement shows that the $129.05 was received at 5:09:09 PST on 12/31. If payment was received, then why do I not have my full Credit limit available now?

Does the fact that banks were closed for the New Year perhaps have anything do to with this? If so, any idea when I can expect my credit limit to be available? And if not, then what do I do? It's like my $129.05 just disappeared. NOT happy.

I have a similar problem, and cannot figure it out, but the "holiday excuse" seems a little spent by now.  I paid $500 from my bank account (echeck) since 1/1, to bring my balance down on my $550 credit limit to $60 or so.  It took 4 days, but the payment cleared finally, yet I am still unable to access funds, except for $131 (which is less than I need for an eBay purchase I've committed to).  My cash was immediately removed from my bank, held hostage ("processing") for 4 days, and now that it's cleared, I still can't access the amount upm to my credit limit-why?

I have the same issue.

I had a $700 limit and made a large purchase. I paid the balance in full late in December and had a zero balance. I made a few small purchases this month, then went to make another and was told I had no more available. My credit limit was reduced to $140 and I was told a letter explaining the reason for the reduction has been sent to me, but no letter has come yet.

I have never been late and only carried a small balance on occasion. I need a bit more than $140 for it to even be worth having this account, but they say they can't give me information over the phone.

I have a 300.00 limit, paid it off in full and they told me it will take 21 days before it will be credited. Then they said that it will take another week after that one, I am being punished for paying off my account. Now I have a credit of 53.00 yet when I tried to add it to my checking account because it will be 53.00 over what I owe them, they will not allow me to put it into my account. I have 1.95 worth of transferable credit. I call and get people I can't understand and wish I'd never even received an account with paypal. Now I'm stuck with money I have to use and don't want to. Plus EBAY is a joke. I've been taken 2 times by them and it's just not worth the hastle. Can anyone tell me why I can buy items but not transfer the extra money back to my account?

No it takes up to 21 days then 7 days more to credit. I paid mine off in full of 300.00 and then a item was refunded, I can't even get the 53.00 back from the item into my checking account. I have to leave it. Yet, I won't get credit for my pay off until the end of this month even though I paid it off on the 5th.
