i DON'T SEE ANY HOLD OR ANYTHING AT ALL!! can someone tells me if this is the NORM NOW? I understand Iam new at selling but I don't even see any info showing Iam a part of the so called 21 day hold... where Iam supposed to see that? Iam looking in my Pay pal acc everywhere!! l and try calling Paypal with no succsess in the matter. Then I read many postings here in the PayPal community and there is tons of people going through same situation some people say they show hold on their funds.. I see nothing.. I have read here info from postings that all depending on the accout --> Pay pal wanst to make sure buyer is completeley satisfied and when they place feedback is when funds may be realeased or hold up to 21 days...?? so ,ebay send me an e mail saying: "congratulations your item sold using Pay Pal" --and then I checked, my account and no funds transfered nor anything saying funds on hold, nothing NADA! so I am so new at this that I just decided to jump off in asumption they may be on hold even IF I DON'T SEE ANYTHING. So I in an effort to mantain a good % and * * * * * on my acc I asumed the buyer did pay and I sent my iTems away... they are all shipped in the US so with fingers crossed, they will get them soon and place a feed back and my money then will be leleased, SO I HOPE. I sent e mail via e bay to my buyers confirming what method of payment they use, I'm still awaiting a responce to double check this issue. Wish me luck - Good luck with you everyone else!

Check your paypal account to see if the item is marked paid before you do anything else.
Paypal had a glitch last week where the items were showing paid in ebay but the payment wasn't appearing in Paypal for several days. This may be a repeat of last weekend's issues or a variation on a theme or your customer could have sent a fake email about payment.
Whatever the reason, do not ship until you've seen the payment enter your Paypal account, just to be safe. It might take a few days.

Thanks for the responce- I checked my e bay acc where you see the blue money sign: and placing my mouse on this shows a message - paid with Pay Pal on March 24 and each item says the same in each money sign so Iam to assume that this was in deed paid! ? I sent 3 items allready -- and took money from my regular bank to ship them, is in suposed teh shipment monet to be taken from the money we received from the buyer ? any ways,
this is my first time experiencing selling si Im still a novice and inexperienced enough, but I from now on I will take all precautions before I send any items out.

ok so the items I sent are just fine I have not to fear some one was taking advantage of my inexperience....so it happens for some reason e bay did not link my new e mail acc creayed to pay ---with pay pal // e bay liked an old account I no longer use--- I FOUND THE PAYMENTS AND I JUST TRANSFER THE MONEY TO MY CURRENT PAYPAL ACC AND I DID CONFIRM WITH E BAY TO HAVE "NOW" THE CORRECT E MAIL ADDRESS ~ SO ALL SEEMS FOR NOW..A OK.
it took a scavanger hunt from here and there to figure it out but did it.

Well, I'm glad it worked out.
But you NEVER, EVER send the parcels until you have cleared payment, regardless of the situation.
