I currently found out about this so called "online job" and was wondering if anyone knew wether or not it was real, because it asks for your paypal email in order to get paid, now the problem is that i signed up to the place but i havent recieved a confirmation email and therefore cant log in to the actual site. Is there anyway i can get scammed?

Funny how I am interested in finding out same info. However I have not provided such info. Yet. It is for paid surveys and they require my papal info. Because I am interconnected with my bank account, I am a bit Leary in giving up my papal info. Hopefully we can find out if there is any way of being scammed. Good luck with your endeavors and if anything you find out please post as I will do the same

The surveys are generally a waste of time - they want to charge you the entrance fee and, by giving them your name and paypal address, you've just enabled them to send very realistic fake paypal messages.

The first poster hasn't even described this "job", so I can't comment on it.

To make your Paypal account bullet-proof, visit the security center in your Paypal account and buy one of their security keys for $5.  It puts a separate, randomly-generated numerical password on your account that changes every 30 seconds and cannot be hijacked, even if the scammer has your password.

That sounds legit, zombie.

But read the fine print on the agreement very carefully, eg, are you selling all rights to the website for peanuts or just the right to resell?  How many times do you get paid for the same article?  And so on.
