I sold an Item on ebay and I have not sold on ebay in a long time and  the item I sold on ebay says that it has been sold and the money is there but it  has not showed up on my paypal account. Dont I have to wait till it reaches paypal before I can print my shipping label .. Any help will be appreciated thanks

A lot of people seem to be having this problem today.

If you were told that the buyer paid by an email, then it's likely a fake email - send it to spoof@ebay.com to check.

If the '$' sign in your selling summary for this item is showing as lit, then it's likely that it's a Paypal **bleep**up - there have been reports of Paypal being up to a week late recording payments on their accounts.  In that case, I'd suggest you wait a bit before sending the item - you can always explain to the buyer that it was Paypal's fault.

If you can't see the payment in your PayPal account History Log, the payment may have been sent to an email address that is not registered to your PayPal account.

Here's how to determine which email address you used in your eBay listing:

1. Find the item you sold.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the listing and click "Sell one like this."
3. Go to the section titled Decide How You'd Like to be Paid.  This will display the email address used in the listing.

If you have access to the email address, please add it to your PayPal account and confirm it. 

In answer to your question about the shipping label, you can print one at your discretion. Without a payment, you may not have the necessary shipping information from the buyer.

Amanda, there IS a glitch in the system - I've seen a dozen reports about it here and on the ebay.ca powersellers board.

Somehow, the payment emails are not being sent out on time.

The funds are held untill the item has confirmation from the seller has shipped the product. This is what I was told from pay pal. If you have already shipped the product your fund should appear shortly Takes the bank it;s self about 3 to 4 days to process the transaction.

  This is all I can tell you from personal experience.  Hope this will help you
