Is it better/quicker to pay with bank debit card or bank account?

It says instant transfer wtih bank account but that isn't so b/c it takes a few days! Is debit card (Visa) better? Please help asap as I bought something today from ebay.

If your PayPal payment is bank account funded and has a credit/debit card backup funding source, your payment will be instantly completed.

If your PayPal payment is credit/debit card funded, the payment will be instantly completed.

If your payment is bank account funded and does not have a credit/debit card backup funding source, your payment will be an echeck which normally takes 3-5 business days to complete.

A debit card will likely have an extra layer of purchase protection provided by the issuing bank.

ALWAYS use  a credit card to pay for items.

Then, if for any reason Paypal drops the ball on a refund ( if needed), the credit card provides a second layer of defence.
