I brought 2 coats from a seller in Utica, NY. I waited 12 day before I received the coat. I only live 50 miles from them. I began asking for my money back on the 7th day. I filed a claim through pay pal. I finally get the coats and one had an 8 inch tear in the sleeve. I email the seller and told him/her that I am returning the coats, all of a sudden she/he is claiming no refund. Pay pal said they sent them a tracking number so the problem is resolved. How can it be resolved when the items I received are not what was advertised by seller? Should I let people know about this on craiglist so that other don't buy from them?

It sounds to me that the only thing you could do is make a post on the same Craigs list catagory and warn people. I would keep posting it . But then again no returns are very commen with an internet purchase. Your case is bad goods though. It is possible that they didnt know, but that isnt helping you much. I figure that if I buy something on the internet it should be well below retail cost. Otherwise I could go right to the source and pay full price. I hope the item can be fixed for you.
