So I bought an item on a relisting, but the seller contacted me and said that ebay had relisted the item and not them. He said he did not recieve my money, and he wouldn't receive it if it came to him, but i have already payed for it and i cant figure out how to get it back from paypal? how do i do that? i have actually talked in person with the guy so i know he hasn't received my payment
You can cancel only unclaimed payments. If your payment is completed, you will need to contact the recipient to request a refund.
To cancel a payment, login to your PayPal account and click on the "Cancel" link in the Order status/Actions column of the transaction. If the "Cancel" link is not present in the Order status/Actions column, the payment has been claimed and cannot be cancelled.
