Download .qif does not include bank transfer

When I download a .qif (Quicken), amounts transferred to my bank account are not included. When I download all transactions comma delimited or tab delimited, those amounts are included. Quicken will import only the .qif file, so I need to be able to get those bank transfers downloaded.

We're learned a long time ago that there is a bit of a disconnect between PayPal and Quickbooks.  Seems if both parties got together, the download issues could easily be resolved however, don't hold your breath.

What has worked totally best for us to simply input all of your transaction data into Quickbooks as soon as you get it..  It only takes a short amount of time to enter a transaction into Quickbooks.  We simply take the info from the email notification and input the info into Quickbooks.  We also use Quickbooks to print a paid receipt which in included with the customer's order.  We now have access to all of our sales information without relying on our PayPal Account Transaction History and it's not so user friendly reporting functions.

Now tax time is a breeze and we can basically run any type of sales report we need.   We only use our PayPal Account Transaction History as a backup reference or to double check something.  The small bit of initial extra typing is priceless.

Don't know when this stopped working  - what a pain!!!

I did find one workaround - go to the bank account paypal transfers to and click on each transaction or "find" all the paypal transactions to edit and change the category to [paypal] and then it will become a "transfer" from paypal to the bank account with transactions on both sides as it should be. Clear as mud? good!
