Don't know when this stopped working - what a pain!!! I did find one workaround - go to the bank account paypal transfers to and click on each transaction or "find" all the paypal transactions to edit and change the category to [paypal] and then it will become a "transfer" from paypal to the bank account with transactions on both sides as it should be. Clear as mud? good!
