Can't Change Funding Source...

A couple of minutes ago I went to complete a transaction and was shocked to see that I was unable to change the funding source of my payment.  Has anyone else encountered this issue?  And if so, is there is known solution?

I do not give out my primary checking account information and created a secondary account exclusively for PayPal.  I don't purchase much using the site but rather sell quite a bit on eBay, transfer funds to my secondary and from there to my primary checking account.  Tonight I wanted to make a purchase, it totaled $33.00 and I only had 28.00 in my PayPal account.  I had to cancel the transaction as it would have drawn the remaining $5.00 from my secondary account which has its usual $2.00 balance and thus would have sent me into a overdraft.

Your paypal balance needs to be at zero to choose another funding source for the whole amount.

If your paypal balance is 20.00 and you are sending a 30.00 payment, then 20 will come from your paypal balance and the rest from which other funding source you choose.

You need to transfer the paypal balance to another account and then you can fund the whole amount with the other funding option

I've been trying to change my funding source and the whole page freezes up!  I can't get any of the page, including Conact Us at the bottom of the page, to respond!  I'm stuck using only the one checking account shown.  I can't even switch it to a Credit Card payment!  Can anyone help me with this?  Thanks!

PayPal refuses to honor my funding source change even tho I have advised them over and over.  They keep trying to get payments from my former funding source and they bounce!
