Buyer fraud??

I have a seller claiming he didnt recieve an item 43 days after it was shipped. He paid Dec 19.

This is the first I have heard from the guy, other than his payment back in mid december. Its been long enough now, that I think I threw out the delivery confirmation reciept, so I am thinking I am probably out of luck. At least its not much money, but still.....

Checking his past left feedbacks, he has a trend. It seems that in the past month, he has left 3 negatives for items not showing up. To me, it sounds either like he has a thief in his neighborhood, or he is committing fraud.

Another interesting thing is that even tho 2 of  the auctions in which he left the negatives were within the last 2 mos, the listings have been removed by Ebay.  The other one was in Nov, so is just past date. The only feedback this guy has left in the past 90 days is negative.

Can anything be done to report and possibly investigate claims like this?? I fear I am going to have to pay this guy back his 20 bucks, AND be out 9 watches that were mailed out Dec. 21.

What can I do? Stall him for a few days, hoping the 45 day limit goes past? That doesnt seem to be the proper way, but it seems to be my only option. He hasnt filed a claim yet, just left a simple note stating he hasnt recieved the item.

Thanks, RipT

Dear Buyer Fraud,

Wow, that is unfortunate!

However, thank you for doing the homework and reporting what you have discovered to eBay.  Ask them to help you resolve this!   They will get the guy if he is scamming. They can at least begin the process of removing him from the eBay community.

I am too new a seller to suggest much more.   Thanks again for reminding me that not everyone is honest!

Best, lowlow9
