I committed to buying a simple $4 thing on eBay, and when I went to pay, I put in my PayPal account I had set up about two months ago, and then my card information. It told me, "That card number is already assigned to another PayPal account. For security purposes, each card may only be assigned to one PayPal account. If you have already opened a PayPal account, please retrieve the relevant information and log in. Otherwise, please use a different card."
As far as I'm aware, this is my only PayPal account.
I went into my account on PayPal and looked at the overview, where it said there was a balance of $0.00. And I checked to see if the bag I had bought off eBay about two months ago (November 20, 2009) so I thought it would show up in the 'Past 3 Months' section of my recent transactions. It wasn' there.
What is going on?
