A few months back I sold an online game account for $450 using paypal, after giving the user the account info he canceled the $450 transaction. I was able to get my account back a week later. I really didnt care anymore as long as I got my account back. I just received a email from paypal saying the user is disputing a chargeback? What does this mean. I never received any money. Paypal must know this seeing as i got an email telling me not to send goods as the buyer denied unauthorized payment. This is what it says
The buyer has filed a chargeback with his or her credit card company stating that the buyer did not authorize the payment.
The credit card company has reversed the payment, and we've placed a temporary hold on the funds while we review this case. If this transaction is covered by protection against unauthorized payments, we'll lift the temporary hold and restore the funds to your account. If the transaction is not eligible, we'll return the funds to the buyer or the rightful owner.

How do i respond to this? One of the options is accept liabilty. Am i paying $450?
