Block or cancel a pending transaction

I put in an order with eToys.com 3 days ago for an item that was supposed to leave the warehouse in 1-2 business days.  Not only has the item not shipped, but it's no longer even listed on their web page.

The site doesn't allow for cancelling orders (which should have clued me in that something was fishy).  Currently, that transaction is sitting in "Pending" status on Paypal.  Is there any way to either block or cancel it so that I can use the funds to buy the item from a more reputable site?

If the transaction doesn't have a "Cancel" action available, you cannot cancel the payment. Contact the website to ask for a refund or other resolution.

Unfortunately, the web site doesn't offer anything other than "send it back once you get it."
