All of your Payment Holds Lifted email from Paypal?

Okay, has anyone else here recieved an email from Paypal saying that all of the Payment holds are released? Before anyone asks, no I am not talking about the message that says an individual payment was released. I recieved this email in early Feb and I am still getting 21 day holds. I contacted Customer Support about this once and they told me to send the email to Spoof. In response I received an automated message stating that the email was a fake. I sent my response to Spoof and they deemed my response a fake too.

Russian PayPal members cannot accept PayPal payments... the payments hold policy does not apply to members who cannot accept payments.

Follow these steps to remove “payment holds” from your account (please note if your item has not been delivered these steps will not work).

1)      Log-in to paypal and click ‘help’ (located at the top right corner of the site)

2)      Then click on ‘Contact Us’ (located at the bottom right corner of the site)

3)      Directly under the title ‘Email Us’ is a link labeled ‘Send us’, click this link.

4)      Fill this in with the appropriate info (don’t go into detail on your issue at this time, just vaguely create a sentence that sums up your problem)

5)      Afterwards you will receive an email that’s labeled something like this ‘Auto-Response Payment Status  (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) ppk1’ from the a specific email address (i'm not allowed to post the exact address on these forums for some reason) .

6)      Reply to this address and give this information:

     a)      Paypal transaction ID #

     b)      Shipping provider (UPS, Fedex, USPS, etc.)

     c)       Tracking # for the item

     d)      And then describe in full detail the situation of your transaction.

7)      If you’ve met Paypal’s requirements for hold release, then they will lift the payment holds.

You may have to do this per transaction.

What incentive do they have to release our funds early, every day the money stays in their escrow account PAYPAL gets the interest, not us!

PayPal is not a credit card company.  Last time I checked, if I placed an order at Crate and Barrel, I had to PAY before I got my merch.  eBay is a shopping/auction site.  I do not recall offering credit to my buyers as I am not a bank either.  The issue with the payment hold is being addressed in the wrong direction.  It's not PayPal, it's the buyers.  It should be mandatory that they leave feedback within a certain period of time for payments placed on hold.  PayPal even states that upon recieving positive feedback that the hold will be released within a few minutes.

selling international does not help.  just sold 2 items to japan customer amd pp held one gave me just enough to ship I bet these pp folks would even do in there own Mother

"Maybe if you can ask your buyers to do you a favor and send feedback before the item is shipped you can recieve your funds the same day" Seriously she said that.

 

That is RICH.  I can't even get my buyers to leave feedback AFTER they have rec'd the item and even when they are aware of the fact that the payment is on hold!!  And, just a thought...  maybe some of the other stuff she told you was just as ridiculous...???

Hello, I had this same problem I had received an email stating the same thing,,,,, states: thanks for been so patient we will no longer be viewing your paypal account nor be holdings from this day... So the same day and next day they still was holding my ebay funds, which is sad because some people do not have money to ship buyers items, I think we should be entitled of all the shipping funds... When I called they said they did not see they sent they email, I know it was them and I have a spoof fake email virus protection on my computer that will not even let me open fake emails, I know paypal emails and this email did not have me to open nothing and it stated please do not reply to this email. But, everytime you call all customer service resp. give you false info... But what I do id give everyone a tracking number paste to paypal so when they get there item I can get my money because I will not be waiting 21 days for every funds sorry just can not do it... Business is get slow because of this problem.
