Just a quick question,
I'm selling my car and the buyer didn't have the money to bank transfer, they suggest they will pay via credit card over paypal friends and family to avoid any fees my end, but accepts they are liable doing it this way. I've never heard or used f&f before so Is this a safe way to receive money as I don't want the buyer to then cancel the payment or can they apply to credit card to get the money back? I don't want to loose out on the money and a car at the same time?
Any advice?

No.
Its against paypal rules to accept payment for goods this way as you are avoiding your paypal fees and negating your buyers protection.
HOWEVER whilst they would not be able to open paypal disputes for non receipt or item not as described they could still do a chargeback if they funded their paypal payment via a credit card.
If they did a chargeback then that is NOT a paypal dispute and if they won YOU would have no seller protection because you had accepted a friends /family payment.
I would advise cash on collection ONLY.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
