I recieved a message from this saying that my money was placed in escrow and I needed to send a customs number to an international buyer and them before they transfer the money into my paypal to assure that I am a trusted seller. I did this and used $150 of my own money to send the item and then they said it would be in my account within 48 hours. So now they send me an email stating that for the business to private account the lowest that can be transferred is $1500 so the  buyer I texted stated that she bumped the payment up to $1500 and I got an email saying that they did but before I get my payment I have to send them a moneygram number saying that I sent the $700 in difference before I get the money into my paypal account. I haven't done this mainly because I have never experience anything like this when it comes to shopping online. This is my first time using pay pal and it hasn't been a great one. I don't want to be out over $850 dollars and a product that I sold for $765 dollars and get no payments in return.

THIS IS A TYPICAL PAYPAL SCAM.

They encourage you to use paypal and often ask you to send the item as a gift to a relative somewhere often Nigeria.
You will get/got a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't.
It will say the buyer has paid ...you won't have been paid.
They will tell you that the payment is released when you provide paypal with a tracking/shipping number......this won't happen.

If the item requires shipping the 'fake' paypal email will tell you that the buyer has paid for the item + shipping costs but you must send those shipping costs to the courier via western union / moneygram BEFORE the funds are released to you.
They are not interested in the item, they just want the western union etc funds and you will never see money in your paypal balance.
They also threaten legal action...have a laugh at that one and ignore it as its rubbish.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.
Paypal do not tell you to send trackable, they advise it for selling protection but it is not compulsory.
Paypal NEVER does escrow.

Delete any emails and ignore the scammers.
