I have just had to submit a paypal request to find out what these are too! (I got 2 on 2 different sales) Very worrying. Paypal should be on the ball with stuff like this. I hope they will get back to me soon?

If you look at the rest of the board you will see that this has been addressed by paypal already.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

One of these appeared next to the name of a buyer, so I immediately checked their Ebay FB and they had no negs, so I don't know what these are supposed to mean - they also do not have a description when you do a Paypal search.

Hey guys,
As Kernowlass has advised, this is already being looked into at the moment.
They main thing you should do if you see this on a transaction is make sure that the transaction is marked as Eligible under our Seller Protection Policy. As long as you send the item to the address on the PayPal transaction, you will be fully covered in the event of a dispute or claim being filed on the payment.
I hope this information answers your questions.
David.
