Payments Held for Non eBay Transactions

I've had my PayPal account now for a few months and have had a few transactions put through it, mostly payments to other people. I opened the account primarily to take credit card payments from my clients via email as I'm a photographer. 

One of the payments made to me PayPal put on hold for 3 weeks. Other transactions have gone through just fine but this one they decided to hold. I have another customer wanting to pay me $1,000 through PayPal but I don't want to have that payment held-up for another 3 weeks as well. Is there any way to see if a payment will or will not be held for this 21 day period?

Welcome to the Community!

If your payments are being placed on hold when they are received in to your PayPal account, you should try contacting customer services in order to get clarification if all of the payments received will be placed on hold or if it is only some of the payments that you will receive through your account.

I can't see your account so I can't check to see if all your payments will be held but if you try contacting customer services, we will be able to tell you if all of the funds will be held or not.
