Ok, this is a bad story, I used a friends debit card to pay for something with permission, the item never arrived so I contacted the seller, with no reply and waiting over a month, My friend cancelled the payment in her bank, I then recived an email from the seller telling me I have caused them a tremendous amount of problem by opening a PayPal dispute, which I didn't do!, I have searched my PayPal for this transaction and dispute, which is not in the resolution centre, regardless of this I was promised a new item with tracking provided I close the dispute, my problem is I cant find the order/ dispute info?!. So what do I do please anyone HELP! Thanks in advance.....

Did you use your account with your friend's card?  Or your friend's account with their card?

If her card was not linked to your paypal account then you would have paid as a guest buyer.

So when your friend took it up with her bank (debit card) then the card issuer would have opened the dispute with paypal.

Have you had a refund yet or is the chargeback still ongoing?
