how can I find a payment made 2015 or 2016?

Go to "activity" top of your paypal page > on the right of the page under "simple / detailed" click on statements > activity export > then on the left of that page under history click on advanced > then in the drop down box under "find a transaction" you can search by email / name / date etc etc etc OR you can click on advanced instead of basic and go back year by year.

thanks for response but going to activity gives activity, charts and graphs, and search by email or search by transactions tabs.

Underneath are Active, payments sent,   all currencies and   past 30 days, as expandable options, but only to 2017 or 2018 and can't change those dates, even if changing Active to Archive.

Not seeing any options you describe, is that an old view?

Nope, I post that answer to the same question at least 2-3 times a week and everyone comes back to say thanks as it solved their problem.
