I want to make a refund and have got as far as being told to click "Refund this Payment" but there seems to be no such option for clicking.

How are you funding the refund? Funds in your paypal balance or do you have a bank account linked (not a debit card).
Thanks for your reply but all's well now. I discovered (by chance) how to locate the refund slot and have dealt with the matter. But thanks anyway!
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
