Hi I'm fairly new to eBay. Have had a few sales and am getting paid as soon as buyer pays. Now PayPal have put a hold on a new payment. It's around £50. I understand the reasoning behind this practice, but it was unexpected and seems a bit random after I've had no problems withdrawing money up to now, and the difficulty is that it's a little on the heavy side (the item I've sold) and I'm a little short of ready cash at the moment. Is it any use approaching PayPal to at least release the postage part ? I can see that in many instances this practice could mean someone could be forced to send a package late (I will manage to post mine, just a squeeze though!) therefore hindering the build up of the trusted seller status that PayPal claim is the reason for holding payments! 😠 As I say I do fully understand the practice, but it's the random and unexpected nature of this that's annoying. Any advice please? Thanks in advance.
