One off transaction fees of 5 USD

Hello,

I have started an online shopify shop, am I right in thinking that paypal charge a 5 usd fee for every single transaction? Also, as I had to upgrade to a business account for a shopify account, will this affect my fees for transactions I make which aren't business on the same account?

Well you are posting on the UK and not the US forum but i believe paypal fees in the U.S are 2.9% plus $0.30 USD per transaction.

Yes, there is definitely something on Paypal which says that as you are a business, each transaction incurs a charge of 5USD It could well be a conversion charge. 

I am still uncertain how this affects my use of paypal for personal use, since I have had to update to business use.
