Help stop a fake seller Panerai

Ok, so I bought a Panerai watch from an Ebayer for a cost north of £2.5k in June 2016. Received looked the part, happy purchaser. Watch stopped in Dec 2016.....find out it's a fake. I contacted seller and plead innocence and he'd bought in good faith etc etc and also advised I could of swapped it from a real watch to a fake...fair point; I didn't and accept my loss albeit slightly irked. So.....today I see the exact same model with the same description word for word from the exact same seller (453 transactions and 100% feedback, hence why I was comfortable with my purchase in June 2016). Surely this seller wouldn't have 2 exact same watches??.? I paid via PayPal linked to my credit card, have I any recourse with PayPal / credit card? How can I stop this seller ripping people off? I'm 100% these seller is a crook and don't want him to get away with ripping people (and me!)

Any advice appreciated.

Martin.

You have 180 days to open a paypal dispute, same as most credit cards.

HOWEVER that does not stop you from seeking legal redress via the court system, tell the seller unless you get a full refund you will be informing trading standards, if that does not work then try the small claims court if you want to....but its risky as you could have switched the watches as they stated.

You also have the option of the small claims court.
