Have I been scammed ?

I was selling an item online via steam, it was an in game item and the buyer told me he would go first and send me the money on paypal and then we would make the trade.

I've received an invoice for payment that looks like this

I'm a complete amateur on paypal and I have no idea what's going on but this looks very odd to me, why am I receiving it as an invoice if he is paying me ? Has he sent me a bill in an attempt to scam me ? It says at the bottom "This is a Paypal gift. This amount will take up to 8 hours to be credited in your Paypal balance. This gift is non refundable and no chargeback." It says it will be credited into my Paypal balance within 8 hours so will I actually get this money or is this actually a charge and I will receive no money ?

Any help is appreciated

Regards,

Samuel

You are correct, its a scam.

Buyers don't send invoices, sellers do.

They send an invoice and just like you said >>

mark it paid

tell you its a gift

tell you it can't be charged back.

etc etc.

You should NEVER send anything until the funds are SHOWING in your paypal account balance.
