Groupon!!!

Hi can anyone help. I returned an item to groupon and raised a dispute with PayPal as they were less than helpful at getting in contact. Now they are saying I need to resend them an email off PayPal saying I have close the dispute but I didn't receive one of those? Who can I ask for one? Thanks x

You should NEVER close a dispute until you have a cleared refund or your item.

If you close it then the seller can ignore you as you can't raise a second dispute for the same transaction.

Escalate the dispute to a claim if you have not already done so then provide paypal with the tracking number that proves delivery of the item back to the seller and paypal will then issue you your refund if the seller has not done so and they will chase the seller to pay themselves back again.

If you had to close a dispute to get a refund then that would make the dispute process pointless wouldn't it.
